Pre-requisites: Evaluation by instructor to demonstrate knowledge of Intro to Soft Apparatus curriculum skills, including: straddle back in slipknot without assistance, stand in standard wrap without slipping, comfortable in foot-lock. Class will be half aerial fitness and half dance transitions, exposing students to the dance progressions they will learn in Advanced Sling. Beginner and mixed level classes are open to ages 14+, but the majority of our students are college aged and older. This class will include basic conditioning drills for correct aerial techniques on both silks and hammock. We also offer private lessons in juggling for adults, or kids aged 7+. Prior aerial experience is recommended. Certain exceptions may be made, but only at the discretion of Circus Collective, includingin the case of injury or illness (accompanied by a note from your physician). We give our more experienced students the opportunity to hold leadership roles and welcome everyone to create and perform in upcoming showcases. No prior experience needed.
