Bookmark Pages & Posts I also really wanted to make a build with Dragon work, and after some testing, it's not that they despawn instantly all the time, but there are at least two and maybe three separate problems with proc hydras: They seem to count as cast by the ENEMY they proced off of; if that enemy dies, they despawn (I think this is by far the biggest problem, since it's useless if you're clearing with any sort of speed), They're still subject to some sort of limit and if you go over, weird stuff happens (they all despawn and new ones don't seem able to spawn for a few seconds), Unsure if this is related to the above, my mind playing tricks on me in testing, or what, but there seems to be a weird multi-second counter in the background: the proc rate seems to rise and fall over the course of 10-12 seconds and so there are periods when you don't proc any at all followed by periods where you proc too many and neither is helpful given the other problems with how this is coded.
